The candidate will be responsible for case intake, budgeting, management, research, advice, reporting, negotiation, litigation, and appeal. Duties:Provide high-quality legal representation to clients in defense litigation mattersHandle case intake, including assessment of legal issues and client needsDevelop and manage case budgets effectivelyConduct legal research and analysis to support case strategiesProvide timely and accurate legal advice to clientsPrepare and draft legal documents, pleadings, and motionsRepresent clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedingsPrepare for and participate in litigation and appealsCommunicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and opposing partiesMaintain accurate and organized case files and documentation Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law schoolAdmission to practice law in the various State and Federal Courts of the state(s) of employmentCertificate(s) of Good Standing from appropriate governing bodies Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degreeAdmission to practice law in the relevant State and Federal CourtsCertificate(s) of Good Standing Skills:Strong legal research and analytical skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsLitigation experience, including trial and appellate workNegotiation and dispute resolution skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectivelyAttention to detail and accuracy Benefits:Competitive salaryHealth insuranceRetirement savings planPaid time offProfessional development opportunities
