Practice Area: Elder Law,Medical Malpractice - Plaintiffs,Trusts and Estates - General, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 5 Years, A law firm in Glendale, CA, is seeking a Senior Plaintiff Litigation Attorney with a strong background in Medical Malpractice and/or Elder Abuse Litigation. The ideal candidate will be capable of independently managing a caseload and handling all aspects of litigation, including discovery, law and motion, depositions, and court appearances. Duties:Manage a caseload of plaintiff litigation matters, primarily focusing on Medical Malpractice and/or Elder Abuse cases.Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including complaints, motions, discovery requests, and pleadings.Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and mediations.Conduct and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courts throughout the litigation process.Collaborate with support staff, paralegals, and other attorneys within the firm. Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the State Bar of California in good standing.5+ years of experience practicing law, with a focus on plaintiff litigation.Proven experience handling Medical Malpractice and/or Elder Abuse litigation cases.Strong understanding of civil litigation procedures, rules of evidence, and court rules.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications:Admission to the State Bar of California. Skills:Proficiency in legal research and writing.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.Proven ability to manage a caseload and prioritize tasks effectively.
