Job DescriptionBeginning in fall 2024, the Learning Hub Suite will offer a single location where educators and parents can access educational tools and resources that include everything from high-quality lessons to a comprehensive library of digital books and much more. The base of Learning Hub are the over 15,000 lessons that comprehensively cover state standards across Math, ELA, Social Studies, and Science with award-winning engaging content. The expanding set of educational tools within Learning Hub, is actively integrating a comprehensive digital library as well as gamified, standards-aligned Math, Science, and ELA skills practice. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Product Owner to join our vibrant team and champion the success of Learning Hub. You will be instrumental in aligning product strategy, leading cross-functional teams, and delivering innovative solutions that delight our users and achieve business objectives. As a hybrid Product Owner and Business Analyst, you will possess a unique blend of strategic vision, user empathy, and analytical prowess, enabling you to bridge the gap between business needs and user aspirations.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties. * Develop and maintain a Learning Hub product roadmap and backlog, including gathering customer and stakeholder feedback, prioritizing planned and potential efforts 3 months to 3 years out, and regularly communicating opportunities and progress against the plan. * Prioritize product features and initiatives based on their impact on users and the business. * Work closely with engineering, design, enrollment teams and marketing teams to translate product vision into actionable requirements. * Create and refine user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria with a focus on highlighting value props for users, and improving their experience on the platform. * Manage the product backlog, ensuring it is prioritized and refined based on changing needs and evolving market conditions. * Own the implementation of the product roadmap and communicate its progress to stakeholders regularly. * Partner with Scrum teams to deliver high-quality features on time and within budget. * Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and measure the success of product initiatives. * Identify and mitigate risks and roadblocks throughout the development process. * Gather and analyze user requirements, stakeholder feedback, and market data. * Define product specifications and ensure they are clear, concise, and measurable. * Conduct cost-benefit analyses and recommend solutions that maximize value for both users and the business. * Maintain a deep understanding of Stride's financial objectives and translate them into actionable product goals. * Be the passionate voice of the user within the product team. * Conduct user research, gather feedback, and translate it into product requirements. * Champion user-centric design principles and ensure product decisions are always informed by user needs.Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities.Certificates and Licenses: None required.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Five (5) years of experience as a Product Owner * Five (5) years of experience as a Business Analyst * Demonstrates experience providing strong product execution leadership for complex early stage projects * Experience leading technology-based product management initiatives * Passionate and skilled in gathering and interpreting user perspective so that requirements and design reflect real needs. Experience working with users with a range of functional needs * Experience collaborating with internal and external technology partners as well as non-technical stakeholders * Excellent communication, negotiation, leadership, influence-management, and problem-solving skills. * Previous success working with multiple concurrent Agile software development teams (especially Scrum and/or Kanban) * Experience with Agile and SAFe methodologies and development tools such as JIRA, Confluence * Experience with online collaboration tools such as O365, Google Docs, Aha, Trello, StoriesOnBoard, etc. * Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.); Web proficiency. * Ability to travel 5% of the time * Ability to clear required background checkDESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor's degree * Experience in education technology organization * Experience with Stride's Enrollment Portal or CRM Tool * Experience with Salesforce or Salesforce DevelopmentWORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Salaries will differ based on these factors, the position's level and expected contribution, and the employee's benefits elections. Offers will typically be in the bottom half of the range. * We anticipate the salary range to be $66,379.50- $170,037.60. The upper end of this range is not likely to be offered, as an individual's compensation can vary based on several factors. These factors include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions. Eligible employees may receive a bonus.
