YOUR MISSION You will be managing the configuration of the production lines and of the flight hardware in accordance with engineering requirements for the different product lines. You will ensure engineering design changes are incorporated into the manufacturing baseline. You would oversee the Satellite Manufacturing Baseline (SMB) and the FAL configuration. Your Day-to-Day You will maintain the MFG Engineering team processes documentation supporting the MFG and Test Domain as defined in the ISO9100 accreditation. Align with the Business Process department. You will support internal and external process audit for MFG Eng team processes and consult with respective process owner. You will ensure execution of MFG Eng team processes and will collaborate with OPEX team to ensure KPI implementation, and DMAIC of improvement actions. You will ensure proper implementation of the change management process for all topics involved in the SMB. You will drive DRB and TRB for new releases or changes in the SMB and ensure alignment with Industrial Management and Production teams. You will ensure proper implementation of the change management process for all topics involved in the FAL GSE configuration. You will drive DRB for new releases or changes in the FAL GSE configuration and ensure alignment with internal MFG OPS teams (Industrial Management and Production teams) and external teams (PMO, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams). You will also ensure proper GSE PN creation and management within the ERP tool. You will perform internal audits to ensure FAL GSE configuration for active and non-active GSE. You will support MFG Eng Managers in the training of new hires to internal processes. You will collaborate with ACS D2M CM team to ensure transfer of critical knowledge by end of Q1 2025. You will attend Engineering CCB meetings, and other ERBs, to identify changes impacting manufacturing and test and generate JIRA tickets to track these changes and its resolution. You will organize and lead a weekly meeting to manage to close the JIRA tickets impacting manufacturing and test topics, and its implementation in manufacturing production codes. Performs other duties as assigned. YOUR PROFILE/EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, business, or equivalent area required. 5+ years of relevant experience in a satellites manufacturing environment or serial production environment is required. Able to define process and ensure proper deployment of manufacturing processes. Able to interact with Engineering team, logistic team, Program, and Production teams. Working expertise in configuration management of sub-systems and system level of satellites, and production lines and GSEs. Excellent communication and listening skills, both verbal and technical. Must be able to communicate effectively through notes and emails. Able to capture concise procedures in a written document. High level of attention to detail and utilize scientific thought and critical thinking. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from peers and end-users. Highly motivated and self-driven. Ability to work independently and within a team. Team player to collaborate with business units and functional partners. Capable of working autonomously and proactively with responsibility and integrity. Capable of working on several projects of different complexity managing the own and team's workload. Capable of working in an organized and ordered manner complying with the company AIT, EHS, and quality standards. Quality-oriented, improvement and innovative mind-set, team spirit and good communication skills. Fluent in written and spoken English is required, French and Spanish a plus. Work schedule : Ability and willingness to work flexible hours and weekends to meet production goals. Flexible working time in normal shift but occasionally early/late/night shifts may be required. It may be required to work during the weekend in specific situations. Onsite role (80-100% dependent upon business needs). Travel Required: 0-10% Domestic/International Eligibility: US Citizenship Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance required Working Conditions and Physical Effort This position requires some domestic and international travel. The work environment can be busy, noisy, and conditions may vary. Also, contains some mechanical and chemical hazards. Protective equipment requirements are required for the clean room. While performing the duties of this job, you are regularly required to sit or stand and use your hands to finger, handle, or touch objects, tools, or controls. You will be frequently required to talk and listen. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
