Description: We are Lockheed Martin You will be the Project Engineering Senior Staff that will report to the Project Engineering Development Integration manager. This position will Follow On Modernization 2.3 and Block Four Contracts. What You Will Be Doing As the Project Engineering Senior Staff your responsibilities will include:* Collaboration with technical Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and leading other project engineers in coordination and execution of awarded technical scope.* Developing and maintaining a thorough and detailed understanding of the technical scope. This includes the various contractual dependencies and drivers, ability to identify scope gaps, technical input into the development of Statements of Work, and development of Ground Rules and Assumptions (GR&As).* Integrating with technical IPTs as needed to drive contract closure and on time deliverables. This includes CDRL delivery and tracking of hardware.* Effective communication of technical issues to various levels of program management while coordinating resolution in parallel through development of closure plans.* Understanding and communicating how the technical scope of the contract aligns with the overall program objectives and strategy.* Driving cross-functional teams through contract execution and understand interdependencies and prioritization of tasks.* Identifying risks and opportunities and driving closure plans through ownership and technical leadership.* Perform EVMS analysis at the contract level and understand impact to overall engineering and/or LOB performance (EVMS / CAM certification required within 6 months of start date).** Must be a US Citizen. Basic Qualifications: * Bachelors of Science in Aeronautical, Mechanical, Systems, Manufacturing, Electrical, Electronics or other Engineering / STEM discipline.* Experience working with cross-functional teams and interfacing with internal/external customers.* Experience in project management and/or project engineering (i.e. reporting technical, schedule, and/or budget status).* Secret or higher security clearance Desired Skills: * Project management / engineering experience* Mission Systems Experience* Airframe design experience* Sensors systems experience* Flight Sciences experience* EVMS Certification Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
