Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Endoscopy Technician to join our dynamic team. As an Endoscopy Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting physicians during endoscopic procedures, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients, and maintaining the integrity of our medical equipment. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and set up endoscopic equipment and instruments prior to procedures. Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures, including but not limited to gastroscopies, colonoscopies, and sigmoidoscopies. Monitor patient vital signs and provide appropriate support and care throughout procedures. Maintain cleanliness and sterility in the endoscopy suite, adhering to infection control protocols. Handle and dispose of biohazardous materials safely and according to regulatory guidelines. Document patient information, procedure details, and equipment maintenance records accurately. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; certification or diploma in endoscopy technology preferred. Prior experience working in an endoscopy or surgical setting is highly desirable. Proficient knowledge of endoscopic equipment and instrumentation. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and adherence to strict safety and infection control protocols. Ability to prioritize tasks and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. Willingness to participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge.
