This role is responsible for the development and implementation of go-to-market plans, execution, and measurement aligned to brand strategic imperatives. Working in this customer segment requires effective cross-functional coordination with portfolio peers, Sales, Commercial Operations, Insights, and Managed Markets teams in order to enhance promotional impact.Accountabilities:As an Associate Director, you will enhance the brand's impact and potential through the development and execution of HCP marketing plans. You will be responsible for working with Brand Leadership to develop and measure aspects of the HCP brand strategy; with a specific focus on opportunity assessments, channel leadership, positioning, messaging, and promotional strategy. This includes significant focus on Personal Promotion, with influence on Omnichannel alignments. Collaboration with other functional areas including but not limited to medical, sales, regulatory and operations will be required to ensure promotional planning is consistent with legal/regulatory compliance.Essential Skills/Experience:Bachelor's Degree required; preferably in business, marketing or the sciences5+ years of Pharmaceutical or Healthcare experience; preferably in brand marketing, market access, market research/analytics or strategic planning3+ years of US Pharmaceutical Marketing and Promotions experienceSuccessful delivery of strategic and operational plans within a therapeutic or business areaDemonstrated experience in working within cross-functional business units essentialStrong financial skill with the ability to assess and get resultsStrong presentation and negotiation skillsAbility to successfully lead through ambiguitySuccessful experience leading change transformationDemonstrated learning agilityDesirable Skills/Experience:Advanced Degree in business, marketing, or the sciencesExperience in HCP Marketing and/or pharmaceutical salesExperience in Insight/Market ResearchExperience related to Immunology therapeutic areaExperience across multiple promotional channels (Personal, Non-Personal, Omnichannel, Digital)Development of cross-functional engagement and promotional pull through plansAt AstraZeneca, we are on a journey to bring life-saving medicines to patients.
