Role Overview: This position is on the Interoperability and Content Management team in the MIS division of INDOT. This position is a senior level application systems analyst/programmer position. Our team is responsible for managing the systems we use for content management, API management, and the applications/integrations developed around those systems. The systems we use for content management are Oracle products. WebCenter Content is where the documents are stored, and Business Process Management is used for workflows that are built up around those documents in WebCenter Content. For API management, applications, and integrations we are using the .NET development stack and Java. The types of applications we have made and maintain include desktop applications, batch jobs, and websites. We are moving to make some changes to our systems in the coming months and years. The main changes coming will be moving away from Oracle Products to OpenText products for our content management and towards using MuleSoft for API management in addition to .NET.A normal workday for someone in this position is a mix of support, maintenance, and new development. The new development will consist largely of configuration to commercial off the shelf systems with the occasional .NET project. We are part of a larger IT team that works with a team of Project Managers and Systems Analysts who hash out requirements for us to fulfill. As for remote work, we are a hybrid workforce. Employees are expected to be in the office for at least three days out of the week and those three days must include either Monday or Friday. Salary: The salary for this position traditionally starts at70,122.00but may be commensurate with education or work experience. Location: This position is located in INDOT's Central Office, Indianapolis. A Day in the Life: The essential functions of this role are as follows: :Conferwith department management to assist in planning, organizing, and controlling activities of assigned area;:Conferwith the user community to conduct, through research, fact:finding, and analysis to formulate and define system requirements, scope, and objectives, establish priorities, and monitor the progress of complex information systems;:Deviseor modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations,
